Moonshine Still rocked the house with us for two nights. 2006 featured a 3 hour plus closing set from Shanti Groove, and not one, but two NYE babies, Chris Carland and Jay Bianchi. Chris made NYE baby predictions, a little-known tradition in this part of the world. Vince Herman and son Silas joined in the musical marathon, Vince on guitar and Silas on washboard. Some of the crowd attended both shows, and were as thrilled as we were to have them take the stage with us. Ronnie tore up Roanoak that included a banjo pass between Jason and Robbie. John played electric mando and Ronnie played John's acoustic. Ronnie was coaxed into singing a number, Mike Bub took a blistering solo, and so did Chris.
